Name of race: Time Lords
Rarity: Very rare. Only one or two in existence.
Time Lords, as the name suggests are consigned to look after time. "The Guardian Race". They can see the whole Time Vortex at once - what was, what is, what could be, what must not be. They hold the power of the Vortex. They see this with a hidden third eye.
They used to be a massive protecting race, but then the Time War between them and the planet Skaro broke out (Time Lords are native to the planet Gallifrey.) Gallifrey was destroyed and the Time Lords with it, but for two. Or was it two...?
Time Lords can cheat death by regenerating, which gives them a new body but they retain their emotions and memories. However, they only have 13 regenertions (14 lives).
Oh yeah - and don't expect their real name.
