Goana smiled pleasantly to the waitress as she placed her coffee in front of her. "Thank you," she said politely and gave her a few golds as a tip.
As she sipped her coffee and read the newspaper a strong male voice spoke. "Hey there beautiful are-"
Goana raised her hand without looking up. "I'm not here to be chatted up. I'm just here for the coffee."
"Aww well that's a shame," said the voice taking the seat next to her.
She furrowed her brows before looking up. Her eyes widened a little upon seeing the man's face. "Akemi? Is that really you?"
The dark haired-man smiled brightly. "You don't even recognise your own brother. I'm hurt," Akemi joked.
"Well I haven't seen you in eleven years. But oh my, you look so much older," she said touching his face. "Your a man now."
"Yeah well your definately a woman now. I swear if dad saw that outfit he'd had a fit."
Goana took her hand away and looked down at her slightly revealing outfit. "What's wrong with it?"
"Weeeell. It leaves very little to the imagination. Dad and Suoh would kill you. Suoh would instantly wrap you in something decent, dad would give you that look that means he imagines you are mum. And you are looking more and more like her?"
Goana shook her head. "Don't remind me. I was so glad when I had finally turned 18 and could get out of the house. Having three years with JUST me and dad was insane. He kept on giving me that loving look he gave mum before she died. It creeped me out so much that I'm thinking of not going home after this."
Akemi nodded solemly. "Yeah. Well I bumped into Aniki who has finally finished his journey and is on his way home now."
"Wow that took him a while. How old is he now?"
"36. It took him 18 years to finish his journey. Souh is close on his kneels and is 30 this year."
Goana's eyes widened. "I don't want mine to take that long."
"I thought you said you might not go home?"
Goana shrugged her shoulders. "I'm not sure. If your at home I might come open."
Akemi shook his head and smiled. "I'm not going home. I met someone."
"Ooooh, I see. And who are they?" Goana asked leaning forward.
Akemi blushed a little and smiled shyly. "I met him here in the Earlom of Man. In this city. He's a photographer. He takes photos of landscapes and stuff. And people." The more Akemi talked the more his face got flushed.
Goana grinned widely. "So I take it your staying with him here."
Akemi shook his head. "Too early for that. I'm staying in my tent on the outskirts of town. I hope that maybe we could get to that stage, but right now I'm being a gentleman, as always."
"Aww your so sweet. I hope it works out well. I think I'll be staying in this town for quite a while longer so I'll be able to see how this goes," she said sipping her cooling coffee.
