Necro stayed silent for a few long minutes and smirked to himself, "The only thing I can do.", he looked down over the edge at the swirling mass of sea creatures fighting for the best position to eat him if he fell, a look of consideration on his face.
"I... I feel fine.", she flicked Ursha with her tail absent-mindedly, "Felt strange a moment ago... Well not strange strange... But as though I wasn't controlling myself for a second.", Kana flexed her wings, checking she really was in control again. "Must have just been Necro trying his barriers and going just a bit too far or something."

"So trying to kill yourself is your option then?" Flame said with an all to casual voice. She snorted and the angry, cynical tone crept back in. "You're absolutely insane you know that right? Those creatures down there- those things- will eat you alive."
Ursha shrugged her shoulders and tagged Kana on the side with her wingtip. "Well in any case, I still refuse to lose whether you are in control or not."

Necro laughed, an eery, heart-freezing, blood-curdling laugh. "No.", his laughter died down, "Of course that's not the option.", he patted Flame's scales a little, "I'm considering draining one of them to heal the wound from pulling out the scale.", he slipped a worn down dagger from a hidden sheathe in his boot and twirled it, "And they wouldn't be able to eat me if they tried, I have no nutritional value."
Kana lunged, tagging Ursha with her tail as she flew overhead, "You always lose.", she laughed and stuck out her tongue.

She shuddered as soon as he touched her scales as if the coldness from his laughter seeped into her body. Flame nodded, now understanding his plan. "That is a bit better, then. Just be careful if at all possible. The last thing we need to deal with is more chaos around here. Two hatchlings is bad enough. I do not need to worry about a third creature causing mischief."
Ursha pouted as she stared up at her sister. She made a lunge, fanning out her wings to lift a little off the ground. It was more an extended jump than flying. "Cheater!"

Kana jokingly sparked at Ursha's wings and swerved to get behind her before jumping onto Ursha's back and hopping back off again, "It's only cheating if you can't do it."
"You compare me to a hatchling? Really?", he sighed in laughter and jumped from the ledge, dagger in hand. His voice carried up from the bottom of the cliff face as one of the writhing sea creatures let out a death cry, "Hatchlings wouldn't stand a chance if they came down here! Nor would any dragon!", there was a small explosion and a strange scent filled the air coming up from the sea. It made the nostrils shiver and made the stomach feel sick, so much so that it was unbearable.

Ursha growled, beginning to become enraged by her sister's taunts. She opened her mouth and exhaled a few weak sparks at Kana, not frustrated enough to summon true fire at such a young age. "But you know I can't!" she complained.
"That may be so, but you are at times just as troublesome as one," Flame called back down to him from the top of the cliff. She backed up a bit away from the edge and settled down into a laying position. She impatiently watched where the land met the air and awaited Necro's return.

Necro jumped back onto solid ground, shaking sea water from his hair, thick silvery liquid congealing in a line from a prominent fang in his mouth. "That's better."
Kana lifted Ursha's tail and waved the rag tied to it for her to see, "Makes it easier to fly remember? That angel-woman gave them to us?"
He wiped his face idly on his sleeve, the liquid vanishing through the fabric. The worn out dagger had vanished. "Now then, to find something sharp enough to get this scale out.", a pack shot into his hands from a shadow, it was covered in symbols like his skin had been earlier and glowed with a faint hint of dark energy.

A shudder ran through Flame's scales as she watched him. The silvery liquid coming off of his fang looked all too much like the colour of her own body. She tensed up all over for a moment, but did her best not to show it. "That scale will be stubborn," Flame said. She recalled a Flame Heart who did the same for his rider to save him. It was a difficult situation.
Meanwhile, Ursha stared up at her sister. She'd completely forgotten about the cloth on her tail. She gave her tail a little wave to make sure it was still secure then opened her wings and clumsily lept into the air to go after Kana.

After a few minutes of digging around in his backpack, at one point almost vanishing into it head first, he withdrew holding a tattered old scroll that looked like the slightest of breezes would blow it apart into dust and carry it away. Necro placed it on the ground before unrolling it slowly and reading the strange script written on the aged parchment. He sat, cross-legged going through it letter by letter for several long minutes before making a quiet 'hmmm' sound.
Kana flicked her tail as she flew, feeling a strange sense of energy coursing through her veins, like she'd just eaten. "C'mon Ursha! Move your spines!", she taunted playfully.
Tolitio swooped down on the deer below, crushing several of the older ones with his tail, killing them quickly so they wouldn't suffer. The other deer didn't even flinch, reassured through his mental contact, knowing his intentions to leave them alone, taking only those he needed to feed his family.

Flame watched carefully, examining Necro's each and every movement. She wasn't just curious... she was suspicious. She wanted to be sure absolutely nothing went wrong. After all, Necro wasn't exactly the most standup individual. He was shady to her. "Hmm? Why 'hmm'?"
"Hey! Not my fault you're better at this!" Ursha snapped. She flapped her wings desperately, a look of surprise coming over her when she managed to rise up to Kana's level. She gave a few more downward strokes to power herself forward and went after her sister. "Get back here!"

"Just thinking Flameheart. Wouldn't want to make a mistake with something this fragile.", he sat looking through the parchment silently for a little while longer as he took a mental note of various details which would require the most precision.
Tolitio sat as he dried his mouth out with the heat of his own flame before picking up the dead deer, knowing how the hatchlings would complain if their meal was soggy with 'Old Dragon Spit'. The thought of them saying that made him chuckle softly to himself.
Kana laughed and shot into the air, doing a backflip, leveling off behind her sister and sparking. "Okay, I'm back here.", she stuck out her tongue.
Necro rolled the parchment back up gently, as though dressing a baby, and slid it back into his strange pack, disappearing up to his waist as he leaned in to place it where it would be most secure. He slid in more, up to his knees, digging around in the contents of the pack - which, from the outside, looked as though it would barely fit a days supply of food and clothing - until he slid into it entirely, completely vanishing inside. The clattering sound of armour and various weapons, books, tools, vials and scrolls being moved about was the only real indication anything was going on within it, even when there was a light thud of something falling over something else. Necro re-emerged a few moments later carrying a faintly humming, sharpened bone. The tip looked as though it had drawn blood, many years ago and stained with it. Necro patted himself down lightly to remove a little bit of dust and his pack shot back into the shadows of it's own accord.

"Ah," was all the silver dragoness said in response. She resumed her relaxed appearance but continued to watch him. She examined every single thing he touched, pondering their purposes, and watching to be sure nothing went wrong. After all, the worst that could happen would be for Kana to be hurt. Actually, she corrected herself. The worst Flame could think of would be him being stuck as Kana's rider through some unholy bond.
Meanwhile Ursha was glaring at said sister, doing her best to keep up. She wasn't about to do fancy loops, she was just fiercely competitive and needed to catch her. She spun and continued to chase. "Get back here!"

Kana laughed, she was having fun, "Nanananananaaaa you can't catch me!", she playfully taunted her sister.
At that very moment, some strange space opened up - filled with a foreign energy - behind him and started to pull him through very slowly. But rather than dragging him through it, somebody stepped through onto the bare earth and the strange energy field seemed to sputter from existance like a flame on the last bit of a candle wick. A single step in front of where it had been, stood a tall woman, in business wear, looking a little worse for wear. Her fiery auburn hair, clung to her clothes, dripping wet (much like the rest of her), her exensive looking clothes were ruined, most especially as they were only meant to be dry cleaned, not immersed in water completely as they clearly had been, with her wearing them no less. Despite this, her make-up remained perfectly intact, without so much as the slightest black mark coming from her eyeliner or mascara.
Necro paused to glance over this strange woman, he was met with a smile. He could almost swear he saw a pair of fangs in there, but if he had, it had been covered so quickly that he had to doubt it. the one thing his eyes did get stuck on though, was the giant crossbow she held, pointing at the ground in a resting position, but threatening looking nevertheless. His mind couldn't help but think, 'She looks like she's just jumped out of a lake... There's even river weed on her shoes'.
The crossbow was held in one hand while the strange woman brushed herself down a little with the other hand. A few moments passed in silence, apart from the soft brushing sound of her skin against the fabric of her clothes before she broke the silence herself. "Sorry, be with you all in a second. Just getting some of this mess off."

Immediately Flame was on the defensive. Her body posture became rigid and her tail was held downward but just as threatening as the crossbow should it be needed. The woman's scent had changed from the water and she couldn't identify her as familiar without it. The silver dragoness spared a quick glance to her children then sent an image of the woman to Tolitio. ~Newcomer,~ she told him.
Meanwhile Ursha paused in the children's game of tag and spun to look down at the red-haired woman. "Hey... look, Kana."

River weed falling onto the ground, the woman stood to her full height, standing just an inch shorter than Necro's usual tall self. Now that she looked a bit more presentable, she cleared her throat, "Good afternoon everyone, apologies for my appearance but my twelve o'clock got a little hectic. Ended up using an underwater route.", she flashed a smile and extended her hand to Flame, "My name is Ev-" "Evangeline Delacroix.", Tolitio landed next to her, his great shadow plunging her into darkness. He folded his wings and walked round to flame, nuzzled her neck and dropped three dead deer. Without noticing, he had blocked off the hatchlings view of the newcomer.
Kana looked over her shoulder, "Food!", she turned in the air and sped back to the group without a clue that this woman was there.
"Ah Tolitio, just the dragon I was looking for. Though I did intend to come to you after dropping off this order.", she indicated the giant crossbow, "Well this shortens my day a bit. Now then...", she brought out a soggy piece of paper from her breast pocket and scanned over it, "Who's Samuel Intrith?", she raised her head. Necro gave a half-hearted wave, "About time, I ordered months ago." "Well it was a strangely customized order. Not everyday that the company gets such a large order, literally. That's why they sent me to deliver it." "And you are... what exactly? The chief dispatches officer or something?"
