Octavis shrugged and unlike the other two he picked up some cutlery and began to eat with them. Aishi was finished quickly and sat crossed legged on the bed till the other two had finished.

Louisa finished her food. She was watching Aishi.
"See, that didn't kill you, did it? It didn't even hurt," she pointed out, lifting a goblet of wine from the tray and draining it.

Aishi looked at Louisa with a slightly annoyed looked before he took off quickly to the bathroom to clean his very messy hands. He came back through and sat right next to Octavis on the edge on the bed. He kept glancing at Louisa.

"I remember my promise," Louisa reassured him. She turned to Octavis. "I won't be far away." She smiled a little at Aishi and left the room.

Aishi growled after Louisa left and rested his head on Octavis's shoulder.
"Aishi your being extremely rude," Octavis said turning his head to face Aishi.
"I don't want her here. I don't care how nice she is, she tried to kill you," Aishi huffed and crossed his arms.
"Well she's going to be with us for a while, so be nice," Octavis said with a smile.
"I don't like her. She's treating me like a kid!" He shouted loudly.
"You are a kid."
"No I'm not I only look like one. I swear if she acts like a condesending adult to me again and will be force to set her bum on fire."
Octavis laughed at the image he had in his mind. "Be nice Aishi, it's her job to protect us, so just let her do it."
Aishi uncrossed his arms and hugged around Octavis's waist. "She's not coming to the Dominion of Demons with us is she?"
"I don't think so, she wouldn't be allowed in anyway unless she was a sacrific for the Cremal's or Nightshades."
"Good. I don't want to live with her forever."
"But you would be okay with living with me?" Octavis asked raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah but your like a really nice friend. Even if you are a clean freak," Aishi teased.
"Oh? Well I guess that means your a slop. Leaving your mess everywhere. And what was with the going into the bathroom to clean your hands, huh?"
"We had company. Plus you don't show those types of manners in front of people you don't know."
"I see." Octavis ruffled Aishi long red hair, his hands brushing Aishi's ears.
"Don't," he said pulling away while holding his ears. "It tickles."

Louisa leaned against the wall outside.
Yo, how GOES it, me sister? said a voice in her mind. Louisa rolled her eyes.
Could you at least TRY to follow protocol, Dianishi? she demanded.
The Brotherhood want to know how you're progressing with your assignment, Dianishi replied, his voice pompus.
Crap. I'm doing the best I can, but I'm just not up to it, it seems. The older demon is bearing me, and the younger just hates me. I'm doing what I can but...I dunno. Maybe the Brothers should send someone else?
Nonsense, Dianishi replied. You ARE the best, and anyway, the Brotherhood RARELY mess up on assignments. They want a report fast, so seeya later sis!
Louisa sighed. Bye Dianishi. Her younger brother was the Brotherhood's secretary. He just wasn't ready to take assignments yet. She sighed, straightened her back and waited.
And waited. No reply from the Brothers, that's odd. They ALWAYS replied to HER. Feeling a little worried, she turned and walked back towards the room.
(A/N: Jen, we need to figure out where this is going, or we'll be in this stalemate FOREVER!)

(A/N: Very true. Well Aishi and Octavis will want to get back to the Dominion of Demons. So is Louisa going to go with them or is she going to leave them here?)
Octavis continued to tickle Aishi's sensitive ears. "Ah Octa stop!" Aishi cried out and tears of laughter rolled down his cheeks.
"No I don't think so," Octavis said and Aishi tried to wriggle away. Octavis grabbed Aishi's foot and pulled the younger demon back and continued to tickle Aishi's ears and stomach.

Louisa paused at the door, hand on the handle. They were sensetive, if she conversed with the Brotherhood, they'd hear it too. HELL. She stopped listening to Aishi's laughter.
Quietly, she followed her gut instinct and went downstairs for a drink.

Octavis stopped his tickle attack on Aishi when the other was finding it hard to breathe. He lay accross the bed rested his forehead on his arms. Aishi lay on his back beside the older demon. "So are you going to be nice to Louisa?" Octavis asked using his tail to poke Aishi in the stomach.
"I'll try, I won't promise anything," Aishi said after he got his breath back.
"At least talk to her, okay?" Aishi nodded.
"Octa?"
"Yes?"
"Do you like Louisa?"
Octavis shrugged. "She okay, why?"
"I was meaning do you like-like her?" Aishi said turned on his side to face Octavis.
"Like a mate? No Aishi I don't," he said trying to surpress a chuckle. "Why do you ask?"
"Well she looks like the same age as you, and she a fighter. And I know you will want to find someone and have a family," Aishi said sadly not meeting Octavis's eyes.
"Aishi, I'm not going to leave you. That's why your asking isn't it?" Aishi nodded. "You silly boy." Octavis pulled Aishi closer to hug him. "Even if that all happens you will still be a major part of my life. I won't abandon you, okay?"
Aishi clutched onto the back of Octavis's shirt. He nodded with a small reassured smile.

"Louisa, I know you said you would take off suddenly but I thought you had left without saying goodbye!" cried the motherly housemistress, pulling her close.
Come on, Niandi!! My assignment is here. How about a drink? Louisa communicated mentally to the woman.
Be CAREFUL Louis. Something tells me this one will - change you. Louisa pulled back and looked at her sardonically.
I meant it, Isa. This will - just - oooh! Be careful. Promise me!
I promise reassured Louisa. Now how about that drink?

"So where would you like to live?" Octavis said turning so that he was lying on his back. Aishi moved to rest his head on Octavis's chest.
"In Uld'Maka. It's the only city in the Dominion of Demons where I would be safest. Plus your Father still lives there. He was very nice to me when I met him. I could go to the Fighting School there too. Learn to fight better," Aishi said looking up at Octavis's face.
Octavis smiled a little. "I think that would be a good idea."

Having finished her drink in several foamy mouthfuls, Louisa headed back upstairs. She felt ready to talk to them, take on this assignment. She should have heard from the Brotherhood by now, but no matter. They'd come.
She stopped outside the door and knocked respectfully.

Octavis looked towards the door. "Come in if it's you Louisa," he called out. He moved to sit up but Aishi won't let him go.
Octa smiled softly and ruffled Aishi's long red hair.

Aishi looked to Louisa before letting go of Octavis. The redhead sat up on the edge of the bed. "I've decided that you can come with us. But there are a few rules."
"Aishi," Octavis said not looking happy about the idea.
"It's just a couple. Rule one, Octavis is the only one that does the 'parent' role. I don't need a mother. And rule two, if I ever need to be disiplined, with I do know I need sometimes, Octavis does that. Okay?"
