Necro smirked and seemed to suddenly vanish but Arrow's shadow seemed thicker, "Lead the way...", his voice mused calmly from her shadow. It seemed to smile, "Don't worry, I can't see anything you wouldn't want me to see from here."

She glanced down at her shadow, noticing the difference, straight away. "I should hope not," She murmured calmly, beginning to the edge of the alley, blinking in wonder as she came to the street. No-one paid heed and it was only a matter of moments before she was engulfed in the small crowds- now starting to dwindle as light fell. Somehow she'd managed to stay on time even after meeting Necro. Frowning in concentration, she headed towards the emptier taverns, occasionally peering through the doors, trying to hurry her way to stop Necro from asking anything else, and to get to what she would call saftety as soon as possible.
A couple of bars down, and she struck luck. Casting a glance at her shadow once more, she entered quietly and headed to the corner where the familiar figure was cast in shadow, with two other figures. Carter glanced up seeing a shadow fall on his desk, and immediately the two were waved away. "Took your time," He muttered roughly, following the men with his eyes as they walked towards the exit. Arrow visibly hesitated- something he noticed right away and grabbed her arm. "We have a room already," He muttered, leading her to the back and down a well-decorated hallway. Occasionally a glance was cast back at her as he dragged her along and pulled them into the room. 23 said the door. End of the corridor and furnished enough that you had to be in the wrong trade to afford it. "Well?"
[just tried to hurry that bit.]

Necro stayed completely silent as he moved from Arrow's shadow quickly and blended in with the room. He didn't want to have Arrow's companion try to harm him. That usually ended in somebody being hurt, and it never seemed to be Necro. Instead, he examined the room and spread himself apart into various different shadows in the nearby area. Easy to shoot back together without calling on the rest of himself.

Arrow peered around the room as if sensing what Necro had done. She bit on her lip and took a step back from Carter. "It's not a secret no more," She murmured with a shake in her voice. Carter frowned for a second in thought before he came to his senses. He glanced around the room, expecting something to happen before he asked, "Where are they?" At this Arrow let herself smile a bit, but that was wiped off as Carter repeated himself louder, pushing past her to a bag that sat on the bed. He ripped the zip open and started rumaging as Arrow scuffed her feet on the ground after gaining her balance from being pushed aside.
She made no retort- something she would have done to anyone else, but instead continued. "See, he said he had an offer for us." She peered at her shadow. Carter looked up to see her glance around and he followed her gaze, waiting for whatever he knew Arrow had seen. Slowly he pushed his black hair from his face. "Arrow, take me to them now." He threatened, his voice much calmer. Didn't even ask for the offer. He would want to hear for himself. "There's no need," Arrow murmured, biting her lip as she looked around the room pointedly, again, begging Necro to appear. Because if she didn't know where he was, she could lead the way. And if she had let Necro escape- It wasn't worth thinking.

Necro gathered himself together in a blink of an eye, "You don't need to worry, I would never utter a word of it to another.", he seemed to be checking for weapons in the nearby area that Carter could use, "I honestly mean no harm."

Carter stopped himself from jumping at the sudden appearance, a dagger sliding down his sleeve in his hand to be ready to be thrown, except Arrow had already stepped infront of him, letting Necro put his words through without harm. Carter frowned in thought- obviously puzzling over the same things Arrow had when she was told the same. He straightened up, and dropped the dagger on the bed which Arrow hurried to immediately to put back in the bag without a word.
"I'll take your word then," He said slowly. "Else you wouldn't be trusted to be brought here." He eyed Arrow who was carefully putting the bag away. "However, there must be something you're willing to offer in order to risk being seen here," He continued- immediately remembering about the offer. A hand was brought up to push the thick black hair from his eyes, letting him frown at Necro before a smile slid on his face. "I don't suppose you'd like a drink-" There was a cough behind him as Arrow shut the door of the cupboard where she'd placed the bag but he ignored it and went to continue, but Arrow interrupted. "This is Necro." She filled in. Choose sides and she'd have to go for Carter- and by this, she'd have to tell him everything she knew. Arrow glanced at Necro with something of a plead in her eye. "And he has quite a interesting offer like I said."

"I'm willing to pay you more than your weight in gold in any form you like to find somebody for me. Now I know that this sounds completely absurd, but this person is highly dangerous and a very good fighter. I would go and find this person myself if it wasn't for the fact that she can detect my presence flawlessly. You might actually have to severely injure her to make her stop trying to get away, but then again, you might not.", Necro's feet weren't touching the ground. It was quite obvious that he was hovering above it without too much thought, "And when I say your weight in gold, I mean the combined weight of yourself and Arrow in a dragon form. "

Arrow glanced up at the mention of the task, waiting for the details but at the description, she already felt something stir. "Let someone else have it." She tried, both quietly yet pursuasively- he had, of course, told her that her training was more important than cashing in at the moment. He had been using 'favours' rather than money to pay for most their luxuries lately and if something went wrong... Carter smiled easily, leaning on one of the bed posts with his arms crossed across his chest. The comment of 'dragon' understandably made a muscle twitch in his jaw but other than that he had no expression. Arrow came beside Carter. "You said-" She stopped and visibly flinched as he raised a hand, as if to back-slap her but he stopped himself.
"Highly dangerous, in what way, Necro?" He asked smoothly, lowering his hand again. He glanced out of the corner of his eye at Arrow who was now changing her focus to Necro. Obviously, she told herself, he did not understand the importance Carter had to her safety.

"The person I want you to find, she's supposedly extinct and highly deadly. if she gets the chance to, she'll try and escape. Of course, if you're not up to the task...", Necro left the statement open. like it was a challenge, but he knew that if they found her, that would be enough to make him happy. to be honest, he just wanted to know she was alive at the moment.

Carter laughed inwardly, ducking his head as he smirked. "Now, who mentioned such a thing?" He asked, glancing up again. "Any weapons?" He asked- background detail and all that. Well he'd be a bit of an idiot if he walked in without a background- that is, if you didn't call him one for accepting the task. Arrow withheld a groan, moving around the bed to search in a cupboard while business went on, feeling very much left out. Business as usual- no doubt she'd be hidden away while Carter completed the task at hand and then she would be released to clean any wounds he received, which generally was not alot. It was good practise however, or so he said, because if she wasn't learning to fight, she should learn to heal. This was exactly what she didn't need.

"She's more of a weapon herself... But she has two swords, one enchanted, one silver, a set of daggers for throwing, a high magic capability, fangs, claws, feet, her head, her hands, her shins, her shoulders, her tail, on occasion she has a crossbow or a long bow, then there's the random objects she can just pick up and throw.... I think that's most of it.... Feel free to use whatever weapons you want though.", Necro smiled. Amazed that he had managed to say the entire list without taking a second breath.

Carter took this in for a second, his hand raising to rub on his jaw in thought. The one thing that was any threat to him was magic- the rest he could deal with, but against magic, he had a great disadvantage. Or so it seemed. His eyes slid over to Arrow who was still searching in the cupboard, occasionally lifting vials and all sorts out and putting them into another bag. "Magic," He said thoughtfully, his hand pausing its movements as Arrow peered up, feeling eyes on her. "What does she look like and," He smiled, "where do you suggest we start looking for her, Necro?" He asked, changing his gaze back to him. Behind him, Arrow slowly stood up, shocked by the look she had been given and knowing straight away that it was a bad idea to have brought Necro. She needed to talk with him- Necro- as soon as she could manage. Sure, Carter had caught magic users before, but hearing Necro call the woman dangerous made it seem more real to her.

"I just have to go and get her photograph from my lodgings. Much easier that way, don't you agree?", Necro drifted into the shadows slightly leaving his near transparent self to finish what he was saying, "It won't take me long. I am lodged in the Fiery Pit round the corner.", Necro vanished completely. If somebody had been watching his eyes carefully, they would have noticed the slight wink to Arrow, like he knew she would want to talk to him.

Carter nodded understandably, a smirk still playing on his lips although he quickly turned his attention from Necro when he half-left. His parting words made him stop again however, and he glanced around to see the last image of him fading. The Fiery Pit. The way he mentioned it made it seem as if he was proving his words but... Carter rubbed his chin again, thinking the conversation through until his eyes shifted to Arrow who was still watching where Necro had last stood with a thoughtful look in her eye. One which he knew too often for comfort.
Arrow blinked, feeling herself be watched again. "What is it, Carter?" She asked with quite a bit of suspicion in her voice. He smiled and at once she knew he hadn't seen the wink. "The Fiery Pit," He repeated. "You know what to do." Arrow couldn't help but frown. He hadn't seen, had he? "We need whatever we can get on him." It clicked into place. He hadn't seen. He didn't know she wanted a way to get out and follow Necro- He didn't just want background on the woman, but on Necro. Out of distrust? She did it to most the customers but it hadn't seemed fitting for Necro. Yet it was perfect. "I'll be back soon," She murmured, heading to the door. She closed it quietly behind her, leaving Carter in the room once more. He turned around and went to the first cupboard where his dagger had been placed, taking out a few smaller knives and others while he continued smiling. It wouldn't do well for him if Arrow had doubts- No, he needed her to go and talk to Necro. Perhaps then she may follow him without question.
Arrow shivered as she left the warmth of the building into the night air. Fiery Pit- That had been one of the few places she'd looked for Carter. She was sure. Quickly she bent her head and began to back-track her steps, finding that it was only around the corner. She entered without a second thought and looked around. Now what? She couldn't really ask where 'Necro' was lodged could she? Although, perhaps he had lodged under his name. No-one need to know whether he was human or not with a name? But what if he hadn't meant her to come yet? No, he had. She knew it. Quietly she made her way towards the entrance towards the private rooms and down the corridor. Well, it shouldn't be too hard to find him should it?

"Hello again.", Necro's voice drifted through the empty corridor. It was late, and most lodgers were sleeping in their rooms or drinking in the bar downstairs. He stood in the doorway that had been empty to the eye only a moment before, "Come inside, people pry into things which they shouldn't.", he drifted through the door and the sound of the lock being opened broke the quiet of the corridor. Necro opened the door, he didn't tend to use doors, or even windows, so it was a strange occurance.
