Her breath caught in her throat painfully. He fooled her? "If I had a choice, I would not have searched." She called powerfully, not a shake in her voice even though a lot relied on her words. Arrow clenched her hand around the knife, terrified for herself. And when the facts where that Carter hadn't even sent her to search in reality, it would beg to differ. Her mind raced frantically. The word 'control', being repeated and stopping herself thinking of the present. She could feel herself occasionally losing herself, but held onto reality with determination. She couldn't walk away. Even if he didn't tell Carter, he would find out from the lack of a client. She could learn. Easily. She just needed to be taught. Carter refused as he needed a pawn, but, what of Necro? "Teach me then," She whispered, almost inaudibly. Her eyes gazed longingly after him- not a lust, but fear. A longing for life. He was strong- but it was a different power from Carter. One that she couldn't be taught if she did not act and she knew it.

Necro raised his head at her request, had she just asked him to teach her of cunning? Of bravery and detection? He smirked, "There is not time to teach you much here or now. Carter is expecting your return, and I am expected too. Also, this is not a good idea.", he cracked his neck and rolled his shoulders, "For what you ask to be taught, is written in blood and bone."

"If it be written, then read it." She challenged, once again feeling a stab of annoyance at the smirk- as if wondering whether he was laughing at her. "I haven't been given a chance to think for myself. Perhaps it's ignorance that made me make a mistake." Arrow frowned at him, before thinking better. "Forget it. Like you said, I'm expected elsewhere." With Necro? He said it himself- he could probably kill her without a second thought and besides, she'd nothing he needed in return. Would she ever be able to trust him enough to do anything with his word? Her sickened feelings had left her completely now, and she lowered a hand to the knife pouch with the case before thinking better of it. She was keeping whatever the pointless bit of evidence was. No doubt it would come in useful sometime.

"Perhaps there will be a time when I will teach you a few things.", He vanished through the floor, "Another time maybe.", Necro landed outside and stretched as the human look left his eyes. now for the meeting to continue. His footsteps were completely silent as he walked towards the inn he had spoken to Carter in before.

Arrow watched as he vanashed infront of her, carefully controlling her expression now. Learn. She could do that. She could do that without any help. Silently, she reached down to the pouch and took the case out now that Necro had disappeared again, carefully examining it- looking for any signs that she couldn't recognize that would tell it was protected aswell. Nothing she could see. With an impatient sigh, she turned, sliding it back into the pouch and started back to the inn. Thank god she didn't take that toe then, Arrow mused unhappily. This meeting was one she wasn't going to enjoy.

Necro decided he would wait in the shadows of the corridor outside the room to let Arrow arrive first. He would have caused her more than enough trouble already and didn't want to make it worse by arriving before she did. Time had taught him well.

Arrow arrived soon after, opening the door to the corridor with an air of depression. She'd lost a costumer. One that was willing to pay more than they would have hoped. She paused outside the door of the room, hand on the handle for a moment as she slid out the metal case once more. To give or-
Arrow tapped it against her thigh in thought before replacing it in it's hold. Well, if there was no client.. The door clicked open and Carter stood there, pulling it back. "Are you not going to come in?" He asked. Not in a polite way, but neither was it malicious. He almost looked confused at her hesitance, and sub-conciously his hand slid to his jaw again where a shadow of hair was beginning to appear. Arrow looked up and smiled. "Yes," She muttered, putting as much enthusiasm as she could into it. "He's to be trusted," She murmured before the door closed. Let Necro do the hard bit. Whether she lied or not wasn't going to make the difference now. [/SIZE]

Necro smirked in the shadows at Arrow's actions and waited for the door to close before forming a more solid form. He slid through the crack under the door and completely solidified again,"Miss me while I was gone?", he dropped a large, heavy sack on the ground by his feet. A few gold peices fell to the floor from the sack. Where he had hidden it on his person, nobody knows; and probably didn't actually want to know, just incase... Necro lookedaround, his eyes flicking directly past Arrow, like he was angry at her still. Merely hiding the feeling from the surface.

Carter sat on the bed silently, while Arrow moved out of the room, to come back, empty handed, just before Necro arrived. They glanced up together at the voice, and Arrow looked away again, leaving Carter to stand, completely ignoring the question as suitable. His eyes lingered on the gold for a moment, a frown appearing, in suspicion, but it had disappeared by the time he met Necro's gaze.
"Seems you have experience in these matters," He noted pleasantly, nodding at the payment. If it could still be called that. Arrow shuffled into a back room at that moment to avoid any awkward exchanges, immediately removing the metal case and hiding it. "You took your time," Carter went on curiously, a suitable note of concern touching his voice- although, if it was true, it was probably for his own sake. "Did you meet trouble?"

"It's hard to transport this much gold at one time and still travel quickly Carter. You get the rest when the task is done. I trust, you have everything you need?", he spun a device on a fingertip and his red eyes flashed. The metal case popped open silently, the contents neatly piled inside. Several sheets of paper covered in pawprints and various other bits of evidence that Necro was a trained hunter, marksman and top level assassin. At the bottom of the tin was a folded sheet which drew attention to itself.

"Of course." He smiled, slowly turning away in thought. But if Necro could blend with shadows in moments, did that mean, he couldn't bring objects with him? But obviously not. Or where there laws to that travel aswell, so thatit took the same length of time to get from one point to another than if he'd walked. Carter made his way to one of the drawers, leaning against it to peer into the mirror that was on top. "I should think so, if all I need to do is locate the female." He said. "Except for the picture, and a means to communicate the location."
Arrow kept the door ajar to hear the conversation within the main room. Already she was wondering what had changed to keep the job going and she was pretty much squished again the door to hear every word. At least, until she noticed the case opening, just within her line of sight. Curious. She shut the door then finally, leaving mumbles coming in through the cracks, but leaving her with enough privacy to pick up the case and bring it to the table, before flicking through pages. Paw prints. Okay. She quickly skimmed through everything, occasionally glancing to the door, unsure of how to think of Necro while she was reading this. Not that she knew in the first place. Finally she got to the bottom, and picked the sheet up, like she had the rest before opening it.

Necro didn't have a reflection in the mirror, "You must also stop her from running away Carter. Otherwise, finding her would have been pointless.", he generated a sheet of paper and created the image on it like he had done before, "Here."
The folded paper was a note, handwritten by Necro himself. A letter to the person that he was now trying to find. It said; "Emsar'dina, I am sorry for all that has happened to you over the years. I don't want to be your enemy, you mean more to me than most people know. Every single one of those encounters we had was for a reason. Your father has been tracking you, as you know, but he would have caught up with you before now if I hadn't been covering your tracks. I sketched your pawprint from one of your tracks before I replaced it with another print. I've been trying to help you get away. I don't want to let you get killed, and if it means that we can't actually meet up somewhere and talk, then I will avoid meeting you in person. Your print is drawn on the back of this letter, so he will never find it. Perhaps this will let you know that you can trust me Ems. Please, don't completely lock me out...", he had signed it too. Underneath his note, was different writing. More fluent and tidy than his own, "Necro, all you will ever be is my enemy. You were trained by my father, ordered to kill me. You cannot disobey him, and you know it. The next time we meet, I shall not show mercy!"

"You said I only had to find her, did you not?" He stated bluntly, though he'd known it was natural to assume he'd have to keep her in place. And the solution, he'd already pondered over. "Some sort of way to freeze her on her feet," He muttered, talking more to himself. He checked the mirror again to make sure his eyes weren't playing him when he managed to not see Necro in the glass. He knew of poisons that could jar up the muscles, if even touched on the skin- he knew of drugs that could do the same if taken with a drink, but the chances of that working on her were greatly diminishing by the moment. For that to work, he'd either have to spread the poison across everything nearby and risk more people touching it, or else come face to face with her. Which was not the way Carter did things. "I'm supposing you already had a solution in mind for that task?" He asked, pushing himself from the desk to take the picture, eyeing it carefully to take in all the details. Don't mistake him for having a lack of imagination for his clients, no, Carter was just careful to do things in the most accurate way, and he'd learned from experience it's best to ask the clientel what they supposed, rather than moving in on his own. Less chances of completely missing some important detail that would keep his life that way.
Arrow read the letter over twice, checking everything, before turning it over to look at the print. She picked up another piece of paper with the print on it aswell and matched it, before turning it around again. Emsar'dina. This was the person they were catching. 'Else it would never have been given to her obviously. Which also meant that Ems, as she had shortened the name, could transform too. Into what however, a sort of dog, she figured. It was too large for a cat, plus the addition of claws turned her mind from that. A wolf. Was it possible? And yet this was meant to satisfy Carter? A few prints and the knowledge. Yet, it seemed rather vague for evidence. He could have easily been trying to fool her again. Arrow sighed. She was going to be looking for tricks and red herrings for a long time now. Learn. Like paranoia was really going to help her. It had helped her to decided that she was going to have to give it to Carter anyway, and hse folded everything away again before replacing the case in her pouch, making her way to the door, before opening it, coming to Carter's side as she had learned to do to avoid confrontation.

"Just to quite literally freeze her. She seems to enjoy the cold so the chances of her fighting back are very low.", Necro smiled, "What's wrong, finding it hard to see a reflection of me?", he watched Arrow secretly. Being wary after years of knowing shapeshifters ~ You look confused Arrow. You may ask me once this task is settled. ~ he sent into her mind.

"And you have a means to do just that," Carter stated. But of course Necro would. There would have been no reason to suggest something other-wise. He ignored the latter question, but smiled to himself before concentrating on the photo once more, taking his eyes of Arrow who started at the voice in her head. She took an accidental step back in shock, only just managing to catch the mirror as it fell of the desk. "I lost control for a second," She muttered apologetically at Carter's stern look. He continued to watch her for a moment in suspicion, or even worry [although there was no signs of the emotion on his face, but rather in his eyes, which were avoiding Necro at that moment of weakness] before away again. He could deal with it later. Arrow glanced at Necro questioningly- afterall, it wasn't everyday that she heard voices in her head. Which meant he could read her thoughts? A panic spread through her body, and immediately tried to ignore her thoughts- and we all know how badly that works out. If this was learning, then atleast she could lie well enough.
